ENGLISH VERSION

The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) will host the 42nd Association for Education Assessment in Africa (AEAA) annual conference on 17th to 21st August, 2026; in Gran Melia Hotel, Arusha, Tanzania. NECTA is honored to invite you to participate and present a paper at the conference. The Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) aims at ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. As we approach the 25th year of the new millennium, the achievement of the SDG 4 goal is still a global concern as several assessment bodies have not incorporated fair assessment that reflects the needs of diverse group of learners. The teaching professional also is slow in restructuring and empowering teachers with the best teaching approaches for inclusive learning that will create the best learning environment that is accessible for all students.

The 42nd Association for Educational Assessment in Africa Annual Conference will focus on an array of aspects in educational assessment, with deliberate emphasis on integration of formative and summative assessment; as well as assessment of non-cognitive skills for the 21st Century skills.
