  Theme : Contemporary Trends and Tools in Educational Assessment
Submission of Abstract
Participants interested in presenting papers at the 26th Annual Conference of the AEAA are requested to submit abstracts of the papers.  The Abstracts should be between 350 and 500 words and should be submitted by March 31, 2008.  Papers should be on the Theme of the Conference.
Abstracts should be prepared using Microsoft Word for Windows, with Arial font, size 12, with a margin of 2.5 cm on A4 page size.  Abstracts should be forwarded to any of the following addresses:

Title of paper
Presenter’s Profile (name, title, qualifications, etc.)

Submission of Papers

Papers should be on the Theme of the Conference.  A hard copy of the Paper should reach the address below not later than June 15, 2008;

Please note that the presentation time for each paper is twenty minutes.  Kindly let us know if you will be available to present in person.
Conference Registration
Registration of participants will commence on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 1600 hours GMT to 1800 hours GMT at the Conference Venue.

Registration Fee

The registration fee per participant is US$100.00 or  its equivalent in Ghana Cedis.  Foreign participants may pay their registration fees by bank transfer or bank draft to:

Conference Language
The official language of the Conference is English.  However, simultaneous translation in French may be provided on request.
Visa Requirements
Apart from citizens of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), all other participants require entry visas.  Visas may be obtained from any Ghana Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.
Innoculation.
A Yellow Fever Certificate is required for entry into Ghana.
Flight Details
A member of the Local Organizing Committee will be available at the airport to receive participants.  Flight details must be communicated in good time for the necessary arrangements to be made.

Weather
The weather at the time of the Conference is expected to be warm during the day and cool in the evening.  Cotton clothing is recommended for the whole week.
